SimAction’s Defibrillation Simulator is a motorized actuator powerful enough to produce full body motion which replicates a real defibrillation. When coupled with any defibrillator, it enriches the learning experience for nursing and medical students as well as hospital staff by simulating a real-life emergency situation with convincing realism.
PATENTED SEIZURE SIMULATOR - WORKS WITH ANY MANIKIN
This exciting new addition to the simulation environment can be used to create a lifelike response to promote learning and teamwork. Improved teamwork has been proven to translate into improved patient care. SimDefib installs into a standard hospital bed and is compatible with any defibrillator you may already have. The convenient sensor is placed on the cable to the defibrillation pads, or paddles. The system will automatically jolt the ‘patient’ when the shock is administered. “Another seamless integration into your lab using equipment you already have!” SimDefib jolts the manikin in a convincingly lifelike manner and allows hospital personnel to intervene with the “patient” and to perfect their code response skills.
- Real-life replication of defibrillation motion
- Fully Automated Action
- Easy to use Clamp Sensor
- Compatible with Pads, Paddles and any Defibrillation System
- Compatible with any pediatric or adult manikin
- Installs easily into standard hospital mattresses or stretchers
‘’SimAction offers many great products and solutions on the market. Thanks to SimSeize, we are now able to accurately simulate a seizure during a medical training scenario.’’Centre de formation medicale du Nouveau-BrunswickUniversity of Moncton
"Sim Seize is an easy tool to use when running eclampsia drills. It is very portable and works well with the basic full body manikins. Even though it is not creating a full tonic clonic seizure, it has adequate realism to indicate when the seizure starts and stops, which is all that is actually required. It is simple to activate remotely. If the scenario is an unknown case, a confederate says “Look! Is that a seizure?” Otherwise you can demonstrate what the seizure looks like in the Room Orientation. Many groups of participants have found this sufficiently realistic, and it has prompted appropriate interventions."Kimberly Harney, MDClinical Professor, Director of OB Resident Simulations, Stanford University Medical Center
"There is no other product on the market, for any price, that simulates seizures as accurately as SimSeize & SimDefib."Kay Daniels, MDClinical Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Director of the OBSim Program at Stanford Health Services, Stanford University, March 21, 2017
"SimAction solved a need that we had been wrestling with for years....with SimSeize and SimDefib we are able to accurately simulate a seizure for the first time"Julie Arafeh MSN, RNSimulation Specialist, Center for Advanced Pediatric and Perinatal Education (CAPE), Stanford University, March 21, 2017
